Typical Scenario
INITIAL INFORMATION
It is 11am on a Thursday and you are in your office at Central House, a three storey office block, in High Street, Beckford. There has been traffic congestion in the area all morning due to emergency road works. The temperature is 11 deg C, raining steadily with a slight north-easterly wind.
You are in your office on the first floor when you hear a crashing sound followed by a slight shuddering of the building. You look out of the window and see a large articulated tanker lorry has crashed into ground floor of Central House.
This is swiftly followed by the sounds of people screaming and shouting. You are approached by a member of staff asking what they should do.
You are conscious that you are the responsible senior member in the office.
