Peter Clarke CVO OBE QPM: A Law graduate of Bristol University he joined the Metropolitan Police in 1977 and worked in various locations around London both in uniform and in the CID.  He was the Borough Commander in Brixton during an outbreak of serious public disorder in 1997.  He was subsequently appointed head of the Royal and Diplomatic Protection Department with responsibility for the security of The Royal family, their residences, the diplomatic community in the capital and the House of Commons. In 2002 he was appointed as Head of the Anti Terrorist Branch and National Co-ordinator for terrorist investigations. Peter had an exceptionally high media profile following the 7/7 outrage and now advises on matters relating to security and counter terrorism in both the public and private sectors.

Neil Bennett: Has extensive experience in national radio and television journalism. A former BBC correspondent who specialised in crime and home affairs – with stints in Belfast and Northern England – he has covered IRA terrorism throughout UK. He has also reported from the Gulf War in 1991 and is now a frequent advisor to senior police on the methods and demands of the modern news media.

Roger Gomm QPM: Is currently a senior serving officer at New Scotland Yard. He is a leading tactical/operational commander with the Metropolitan Police Service and was the Silver Commander during the 7/7 terrorist atrocities. He has vast experience of policing major demonstrations in the capital.

Mick Free: A former senior Metropolitan Police officer who for some years was seconded to the Association of Chief Police Officers as the national emergency procedures and UK identification team co-ordinator.

Bob Cox: Formerly Chief Press Officer at New Scotland Yard and has been involved advising senior police officers on how to deal with the international and national media on numerous contentious and high profile cases.
