Shopping Centre Major Incident Training
A basic, unique and unrivalled course for Shopping Centre Duty Managers in dealing with a major incident and its aftermath.
A major incident can occur at any time or place so your management teams must be prepared to act quickly and decisively. The threat of terrorism is constant but other unexpected events such as flooding or fire can be equally challenging. This intensive, practical residential two-day course provides major incident training for Shopping Centre/Retail Park Management and City Centre Managers who will be the first in responding to such an event. It enables them to be up to date with the latest good-practice training ensuring the confidence to deal effectively with an incident.
Major Incident Management Training
A basic, unique and unrivalled course for all members of incident teams. This long established two-day course deals with all aspects of a major incident.
This practical, intensive course programme provides initial major incident training to all those who will be responding on site or providing support at different locations. The course is based on those for senior managers of the Emergency Services. It uses real life experiences to create life-like simulations of an evolving incident, from conception to conclusion. The course content includes lessons learned from 7th July 2005 London Transport bombings, attempted terrorist attacks in London, Glasgow and Exeter and 2007 nationwide flooding.
Major Incident Training for Security Supervisors/Controllers
A training workshop designed to assist all Supervisors working in a shopping centre environment/office environment in dealing with the initial stages of a major incident.
A major or serious incident, whether it is terrorism or other major incident such as flooding, can occur at any time and in any place. Security Supervisors and Controllers will be the first to respond - they must react quickly and decisively and their response must be right. This course will provide intensive but practical experience for dealing with any event confidently and calmly.
Major Incident Management – Developmental Seminar
This course will provide continuous professional development training in Major Incident Management for all delegates who have already completed a Bronze/Silver training course and is relevant to those who work in a shopping centre/retail environment or office facility.
The threat to life and property from terrorism, environmental extremists, natural and man-made disasters is ever present. Your response to a major incident needs to be both instant and effective. Attending this seminar allows you to keep up to date with the latest good practice thinking. It will ensure that your knowledge and skills are current with the latest situation should the worst happen.
